Affirmology Video Strategy and Treatments v1

For: Jeff Parker and Sol Ballard Date: June 11, 2026 Status: Strategy and treatments pass. Scripts come in a second pass after you react to this. Depth chosen: Storytelling arcs, beat outlines, visual direction, tool stack. Not finished VO scripts yet. Companion files already in the folder: the pitch deck (affirmology-pitch-deck.pdf), the locked demo visual language (MEMORY.md), the existing methodology overlay workflow (Affirmology_VideoOverlays_v2.md), the narrative arc theory (Affirmology_NarrativeAnalysis_v1.md), the use case catalog, the neuroscience research, and the membership and community research.

How to read this document

Part 1 reflects back what you and Sol said, distilled into the spine the videos will stand on. Part 2 is the recommended video lineup and the scope split between them. Part 3 is the beat-by-beat treatment for each video. Part 4 is the light NDA gate design. Part 5 is the art direction. Part 6 is the AI tool stack and the production pipeline. Part 7 is who does what next.

If you only read one thing, read Part 2. It is the decision that unlocks everything else.

PART 1: WHAT YOU SAID, REFLECTED BACK

1.1 The one-sentence version

Affirmology turns your cosmic blueprint into a personalized subconscious audio that rewires your identity at the level beneath the thinking mind, and it is the first product to bridge the worlds of astrology, Gene Keys, and Human Design with the world of neuroscience-backed transformational audio.

1.2 The thesis under the thesis

There are two truths the videos have to carry at once, and they map cleanly onto the two audiences.

The first truth is that you were encoded at birth. Whether the soul chose it or the cosmos stamped it, the chart is a real, fixed, dense set of data about who you are. That data is overwhelming. A natal chart is hundreds of relationships at once. Gene Keys is 64 keys across multiple spheres with 6 lines each. Human Design layers a body graph of defined and open centers on top. People spend years and hundreds of dollars a year trying to decode it with the left brain, and most never finish.

The second truth is that understanding was never the point. Transcending is the point. Affirmology takes the decoded blueprint and delivers it past the linear mind, into the subconscious, through audio engineered with the actual levers neuroscience has validated. You do not study your chart. You become it. You stop trying so hard from the conscious mind.

The trailer sells the first truth as mystery and the second truth as relief. The investor film proves both truths are large, defensible markets that nobody has connected yet.

1.3 The movement, not just the app

This is the part of your notes that matters most and is easiest to lose in a feature list. Affirmology is a movement of people discovering the soul song they are uniquely meant to play, and being encouraged to play it. The product is the on-ramp. The community, the in-person ceremonies, the affiliates who become "Affirmologists," the breathwork and sound healing and sacred medicine integrations, the workshops that go deeper after the app has built trust, that is the actual organism. The app bypasses the linear mind and earns trust fast, and once trust exists, everything else becomes possible.

The videos should feel like the opening of a movement, not the demo of a utility.

1.4 The avatar

Skews female, roughly ages 16 to 50, spiritually fluent, already speaks the language ("what's your rising sign, are you a manifesting generator"). For men, the same product is framed as self-actualization and personal development: lock in why you are here, embed it in the subconscious, unblock yourself, live your most fruitful life. Sol is close to the core avatar and has lived the consumption journey (tapping, audios, deconditioning) for two decades, which is a marketing asset.

The deeper psychological driver, from Sol's research, is real and should be named obliquely in the trailer and explicitly in the investor film: de-churching and the search for meaning. People are leaving traditional religious structures and assembling decentralized, pick-and-choose spiritualities. They are overwhelmed by choice, family and cultural inheritance, and a chaotic world. They want a guide. Affirmology is the guide.

1.5 The differentiators, ranked

  1. Subconscious delivery, not study. Everyone else hands you more to read and contemplate. You hand them an audio that does the work while they sleep, walk, or sit.
  2. The bridge nobody built. Astrology report buyers, Gene Keys practitioners, Human Design community, and the Abraham Hicks / afformations / Tapping Solution audio audiences have never been merged into one personalized product.
  3. Gene Keys streamlined. Gene Keys is not low-interest, it is high-barrier. Four books, a roadmap, overwhelm. Affirmology removes the barrier and takes the user from "stuck" to "empowered." Gene Keys buyers are likely your most rabid early adopters.
  4. Neuroscience, not woo. Heart coherence, theta-state encoding, prosodic safety, sleep-dependent consolidation, resonance breathing. There are real, citable levers, and you use them deliberately. Most audios on the market ignore them.
  5. The founders. Jeff: electrical engineering, 13 years patent attorney (the IP moat and the technical architecture are real, not hand-waved), built the backend engine himself, ran sold-out 3-day conferences, has a signature heart coherence meditation proven across hundreds of people in live settings, has raised capital before, is a recognized figure in the Miami wellness and spirituality community. Sol: 20 years in personal development, brand and messaging and mindset coaching, is the core avatar, makes the most creative content. Founder-market fit at its clearest.
  6. You cannot just do this in ChatGPT. Getting the chart math right, sourcing defensible interpretation, generating the script, generating the voice in a consistent persona, matching music, mixing, and delivering, across multiple accounts and tools, is a real pipeline. Affirmology is a honed interface that self-improves, gets more poetic, takes feedback, and ships new use cases.

1.6 The rollout (the "why now" engine)

Summer: build and test the model on friends and close community with the basic audios, hone it, get ads running, gather feedback and footage. Build toward two flagship moments.

September 11 (Jeff's birthday) pre-launch debut. Facilitators, influencers, spaceholders. Silent disco headsets so a room listens to the same audio simultaneously, each with words customized to them. Everyone has typed in their birth data, which is a marketable lead list. Attendees get paths to membership and affiliate status.

Two weeks later, the Ultimate Wellness Conference at the Faena Forum, Miami. Sol and Jeff MC three days with more stage time than anyone, between every speaker. A booth, cards with "Get Your Subconscious Audio" and "Become an Affiliate" QR codes, and a side experience space: lounge chairs, projection-mapped cosmic visuals overhead, headsets, light and sound, possibly vibroacoustic chairs, positioned in the room where the embodiment experiences happen (sword yoga, kundalini, breathwork, roughly 200 people per session). Plus leading the group meditation and connection exercise for speakers and VIPs at the first night's dinner, a deep debut for high-value influencers. Miami is influencer city for wellness, spirituality, and biohacking, and Jeff is a known quantity there, which is the affiliate flywheel.

This rollout is the answer to "why now" and "how do you get distribution." It belongs in the investor film and stays out of the consumer trailer.

PART 2: THE VIDEO LINEUP (THE DECISION)

You said two or three, as discussed. Here is the recommendation and the reasoning, so you can pick.

Recommendation: build three assets, but ship them in two waves.

Wave one, build now: the Trailer and the Investor Film. These are the two you actually need for the website-plus-demo flow and for investor conversations. They are also the two that share the most raw material, so building them together is efficient.

Wave two, build after the September test footage exists: the Upsell Film. It is the weakest of the three to make today because its whole job is to convert someone who has just listened, and you will make a far better version once you have real reactions, real testimonials, and a finalized membership ladder. Making it now means remaking it in October.

So: script and produce A and C now. Sketch B, hold it.

The three assets at a glance

A. The Trailer B. The Upsell Film C. The Investor Film
Plays where On the demo page, the moment they submit birth data, while audio renders After they finish listening to their demo audio Sent privately (unlisted YouTube link) after an investor has experienced the demo
Length 90 to 120 seconds 60 to 90 seconds 3.5 to 5 minutes
Job Turn a 3-to-5 minute wait into the best part of the experience. Build awe and mystery. Make them feel they are inside a movie about themselves. Convert a moved listener into a member or affiliate. Show what else is possible. Replace the deck. Prove the market, the moat, the rollout, and the founders.
Audience knows astrology? Mixed. Must land for both insiders and total newcomers. They just felt it, so belief is high. Often no. Must teach fast and lead with money.
Emotional target Awe, mystery, "this is about me" Desire, belonging, momentum Conviction, FOMO, "this is inevitable and I want in"
Voice ElevenLabs Charlotte (same as the demo audio, for continuity) Charlotte, warmer and more direct Charlotte or a slightly more grounded second voice; test both

The scope split (what goes where)

This is the single most useful table in the document. It resolves your "what is too much information for the trailer" question.

Content beat Trailer Upsell Investor
You were encoded at birth (mystery hook) ✅ core · ✅ brief
The chart is beautiful and overwhelming (astrology spinning chart) ✅ core ·
Gene Keys is complex and high-barrier ✅ light touch · ✅ full
Human Design body graph complexity ✅ light touch ·

Neuroscience levers (coherence, theta, sleep) ⚠️ one line, felt not explained ✅ full proof
"You can't do this in ChatGPT" technical moat · · ✅ core
Use case breadth (synastry, transits, career, family) ⚠️ montage glimpse ✅ core
Market size and growth numbers · · ✅ core
Business model, margins, pricing ladder · ⚠️ price only ✅ core
The rollout (Sept 11, Faena, affiliates) · · ✅ core

Call to action "Your audio is almost ready" "Become a member / Affirmologist" "$X for Y%, here is the round"

The trailer's discipline is restraint. It is a trailer, not the film. It withholds. The investor film is the opposite: it is the full argument, made fast, with numbers on screen.

PART 3: THE TREATMENTS

A note on method. Each treatment below is an arc plus a beat sheet plus visual direction. The beats are timed as ranges. The on-screen text is indicated but not finalized. The VO is described, not written. When you approve the arcs, the next pass turns each beat into spoken lines and exact card copy, the same way Affirmology_VideoOverlays_v2.md did for the methodology video.

3.1 VIDEO A: THE TRAILER ("The Loading Film")

Arc: Mystery to recognition to relief to anticipation. It mirrors, in 100 seconds, the emotional arc the actual audio will walk them through. By the time the audio is ready, they are already half-transformed by the wait.

The reframe that makes this work: the wait is not dead time to disguise. It is the trailer for a film about them that is rendering in real time. The screen should make them feel watched in a tender way, the way Affirmology_NarrativeAnalysis_v1.md describes: "the script that quietly sees him will land."

Beat sheet (target 100s):

What the trailer must not do: explain a single astrological term, show a price, name a market number, or feel like an ad. If a stranger who has never heard the word "transit" does not feel awe and a little chill, it failed.

3.2 VIDEO B: THE UPSELL FILM ("What's In Store"): sketch only, build in wave two

Arc: You just felt one thing. Imagine this for every part of your life.

Why hold it: its power depends on testimonial footage and a finalized membership ladder you do not have until after the September test. Building now means rebuilding in October.

Beat sketch (target 75s):

3.3 VIDEO C: THE INVESTOR FILM

Arc: A felt mystery becomes an obvious, large, defensible, inevitable business with the only two people who could build it. It deliberately starts in the heart and ends in the spreadsheet.

The structural choice: because many investors do not speak astrology, the film teaches the category in 40 seconds through the same awe device as the trailer, then pivots hard into market, moat, model, rollout, and founders. It is the deck, but sequenced for momentum and emotion instead of for slide order. Map the beats to the deck pages noted in brackets.

Beat sheet (target 4 minutes):

One reconciliation note for the investor film (see Part 7 open items): the deck cites the astrology market at "$13B" with "8.6% CAGR," while the most-cited third-party source (Allied Market Research) puts it at $12.8B growing to $22.8B at 5.7% CAGR. The dollar figures agree. The growth rate does not. Use 5.7% on screen because it is the number tied to the $22.8B projection you are also showing, and pick one CAGR so a sharp investor cannot catch a mismatch. Also keep the "astrology app market" figure (roughly $5.7B, a narrower segment) separate from the "astrology market" figure ($12.8B) so the two are never conflated.

PART 4: THE LIGHT NDA GATE

You asked for a low-friction confidentiality step that reveals as little as possible without killing momentum. Here is one recommended design plus two alternates.

The principle: a gate that feels like part of the ritual, not a legal speed bump. It should add to the mystery ("you are being let into something not yet public"), not subtract from it. Friction is the enemy of the trailer's momentum, so the gate goes before birth-data entry, not between submission and the trailer.

Recommended: the "Inner Circle" click-to-agree, placed at entry.

Alternate 1, lighter: a one-line honor request, no checkbox. On the entry overlay, simply: "You are previewing something not yet public. We trust you to keep it close." Button: "I understand." Lower friction, lower enforceability, highest momentum. Good for the consumer trailer flow where you mostly care about tone.

Alternate 2, heavier: a real e-signature gate for named investors only. For the private investor link, route high-value viewers through a DocuSign or PandaDoc embed of the existing mutual NDA before the page unlocks. Reserve this for the investor film and named partners, never for consumer demo traffic. It will tank consumer conversion if applied broadly.

Recommendation: ship the consumer demo with the "Inner Circle" clickwrap (recommended) or the one-line honor request (Alternate 1), and gate only the private investor link with the real NDA (Alternate 2). Do not put a heavy gate in front of the consumer trailer. If in doubt, lighter wins, because reveal-less design is your real protection, not the checkbox.

PART 5: ART DIRECTION

The locked visual language (from the demo, already sampled from the deck, use it everywhere for continuity):

The motion grammar (so three videos feel like one world):

The "consistent slides, then animate" idea you raised is the right one. Build a master kit of branded frames (chart visual, Gene Keys wheel, Human Design graph, the pipeline diagram, the market and model frames, the founder frame) in the locked palette, then animate them. This gives a consistent look fast, keeps the investor film and trailer visually unified, and hands a clean, layered project to a human editor for polish. The chart visuals specifically can be generated as real, accurate charts (your stack already computes them with Swiss Ephemeris) and then beautified, which is more authentic than a fake decorative chart.

PART 6: THE AI TOOL STACK AND PRODUCTION PIPELINE

The goal you stated: string together AI tools to make something beautiful fast, with consistent visuals, that a more technical editor can later improve. Here is the recommended stack and the pipeline, current as of June 2026.

Important timing note: OpenAI is discontinuing Sora's app and API in 2026 (app late April, API late September). Do not build the pipeline on Sora. The durable choices are Veo, Kling, and Runway.

Layer by layer:

The pipeline, end to end:

  1. Approve arcs (this doc), then write VO scripts and exact card copy per beat (next pass).
  2. Render VO in ElevenLabs (Charlotte). Render or select Suno beds. Rough-mix so the timing is locked, because picture cuts to audio, not the reverse.
  3. Build the master frame kit in Midjourney and Flux in the locked palette. Generate the real chart SVGs from your engine.
  4. Generate motion shots: Veo for hero, Kling for volume, Runway for controlled and reference-consistent shots and for animating the frame kit.
  5. Assemble in CapCut or Descript against the locked audio. Drop overlays via the card template and the .srt method.
  6. Review, then hand a layered project to a human editor for color, sound design, and finishing. The editor improves, but the whole thing already works without them, which is the point.

Rough budget posture: the generative tools are subscription-cheap (tens of dollars a month each), and the real cost is time and the optional editor. Building A and C with this stack is a days-to-low-weeks effort, not a months effort, especially because the frame-kit approach front-loads the look.

PART 7: THE MEMBERSHIP IRRESISTIBILITY ENGINE

Jeff's note: the videos have to speak to why membership is irresistible, specifically the updated-transit hook, how rabid people already are on Instagram and YouTube for that information, and the full stack of upsells and advanced features for members. This section gives the argument; the Upsell Film's "cadence" beat and the Investor Film's model beat both draw from it.

7.1 Why the transit hook is the strongest subscription lever you have

The static product (the Starter Kit) is a one-time purchase. It proves the magic, but it does not recur. The thing that recurs, forever, is the sky. Astrology's entire content economy runs on the fact that the cosmos issues a new "episode" every few days: a new moon, a full moon, an eclipse, a retrograde, a major transit. This is the natural subscription clock, and it is already beating in your customer's chest.

The demand is not hypothetical, and the videos should prove it on screen. The biggest astrology accounts on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok pull millions of views on a single "what this new moon means for you" post. Comment sections fill with people asking what it means for them specifically. Co-Star built a brand on a single famously personalized daily push notification. CHANI charges roughly $108 a year and is considered the gold standard precisely because it ties daily, weekly, and monthly readings to your chart. Astrology Hub sells "Cosmic Pulse" daily texts. People have organized their emotional lives around these updates.

And here is the gap, which is the whole pitch: every one of those mass accounts can only speak to your sun sign or rising sign. Twelve buckets for eight billion people. The information is real, the appetite is enormous, and the personalization is fake. Affirmology is the only product that takes the same transit the whole internet is buzzing about and renders it against your entire chart, then delivers it as an audio you can actually absorb, not one more article you have to study. You stop refreshing twelve-sign horoscopes. Your sky comes to you.

That contrast (huge proven demand, plus universally shallow personalization, plus the only real personalization delivered as subconscious audio) is the single most investable idea in the whole product, and it is the emotional climax of the upsell. Put it in both films.

7.2 The upsell ladder and advanced features, as the videos should reference them

Your membership research already defines a clean five-tier consumer ladder plus a practitioner layer. The Upsell Film names the rungs and dramatizes the feeling; the Investor Film shows the ladder as a revenue architecture. The advanced features, in climbing order:

The advanced and wink-wink features worth teasing as "what membership unlocks": transit-responsive personal audios on the lunar clock, the Living Audio custom remix from your real-life question, synastry and business-partnership and family-pattern audios from the use case catalog, astrocartography for major life moves, the format library (sit-and-tap, pre-sleep for retention, walk-and-jog), a yearly Spotify-style "Affirmology Wrapped" of the themes and transits you moved through, and the deconditioning depth that takes the user from understanding to transcending. Tease breadth, do not enumerate exhaustively, the Upsell Film sells the feeling of "there is a version of this for every part of my life."

7.3 Why the membership math is investable (for the Investor Film model beat)

The ladder monetizes four climbing axes: depth, frequency, transit-responsiveness, and human contact. The blended ARPU lands around $25 to $40 a month across a healthy mix, with a standard 1-9-90 distribution where the top 10% pay the equivalent of $99 to $200 a month. Floor LTV is roughly $660 (Starter Kit plus a couple years of Lunar Companion), ceiling LTV is $3,000 and up. Retention is engineered from day one with a moon-phase streak counter, annual-default checkout to halve churn, cohort drops timed to lunar phases for synchronized anticipation, a first-72-hours personal voice note, and a Waking-Up-style "free if you ask" access policy that converts paying customers at higher rates and earns a public integrity story. The recurring transit cadence is what makes all of this compound, because the sky never stops shipping new reasons to come back.

PART 8: DIVISION OF LABOR AND NEXT STEPS

Claude (me): turn approved arcs into finished VO scripts and exact card copy for A and C; draft the NDA overlay copy; build the branded master-frame spec and the shot list per beat; assemble the generation prompts (Midjourney, Veo, Kling, Runway) shot by shot; reconcile the on-screen data so every number is defensible.

Sol: voice and emotional truth of the scripts (you are closest to the avatar), the use-case selection for the upsell montage, the community and movement language, and the de-churching and meaning angle she researched. Sol's Gemini conversation (Affirmology_Sol_GeminiConversation_UseCases_v1.md) is a strong reference for the conversational, attuned tone the VO should carry.

Jeff: the technical and IP framing for the investor moat beat, the rollout and distribution beat (only you have the Faena and community detail), the founder beat, the final voice and music selections, and the call on which NDA approach ships.

Immediate next decisions I need from you (the only open items):

  1. Confirm the lineup: build A and C now, hold B for wave two. Yes or adjust.
  2. Pick the NDA approach for consumer traffic: "Inner Circle" clickwrap (recommended) or the one-line honor request.
  3. CAGR call for the investor film: confirm using 5.7% and the $12.8B to $22.8B framing, and confirm I should align the deck to match.
  4. Give me the green light to write the full VO scripts and card copy for the Trailer and the Investor Film as the next deliverable.

Once you answer those four, the next pass is finished scripts and a shot-by-shot build sheet, ready to hand to the tools.
