Affirmology Session Notes: v3 Reading Feedback (Jeff + Sol)
- Date: Jul 2, 2026, 9:27 PM EDT (road trip, recorded right after Sol listened to the v3 reading)

- Context: Sol's v3 reading audio failed for her. Jeff worried it may have gone out to the list; planned to reconfigure and regenerate that night. Companion session to the same-night Wealth Audio Reflections session. Predates the Jul 5 Mirror feedback session (S11); many findings overlap and S11 is the newer statement of the structural fix.
What went wrong with v3
- Checklist reading: sun sign, rising, moon, then hop to Human Design type, profile lines, one by one. Ingredients of the cake, no synthesis. Jeff: the build was supposed to be AHA-driven (a list of ~10 aha types, e.g. "all the charts agree on this one thing about your wealth"), and v3 ignored that.
- Sol's words: no context, explanations too short and confusing, too fast to absorb before it moved on, repeated what she already knew while glossing over what she did not, no payoff, no aha.
- Jeff's framing question for every reading: "What is the chart really screaming?" not "what is each ingredient?"
What good looks like (benchmarks)
- The Wealth readings landed for both, even at 72 minutes. Jeff's earlier aha-based audios also landed. Study the diff.
- A payoff is one of: a genuine aha, a usable application, something you would not have heard elsewhere, or an affirmation that feels designed just for you ("I make decisions from my knowing").
Structure fix agreed in session
- Per-segment three-part pattern: (1) Concept, what this element means, (2) Application, how it shows up in relationships, business, kids, daily life, (3) Affirmation, repeated about 3 times for subconscious retention.
- Fewer topics per audio, more depth per topic: general intro, then layer down, then real-life application. Multiple life-domain examples so it resonates across different lives.
- Pacing: slightly slower overall plus more pauses between sentences. Consider a PLAYER-level speed toggle (slow/speed button) instead of regenerating audio. Could also ask users their pacing preference.
Strategic directions raised
- Context hypothesis: readings feel abstract without personal context. Like a live reader asking "where does this land for you?" Possible pivot: a chatbot flow that collects context/questions first, then generates a handful of targeted audios. Jeff: "we're going to try that for sure."
- Still to test: long-form Gene Keys journey audio; the neuroscience-technique structures from the research corpus (researched, never rendered).
- Beta risk management: do not hit beta testers with duds before they have tasted a good one; they are the people who will shape the engine. Feedback loop (good/bad structure flags) feeds the growth engine.
- Timeline as spoken (now historical): frame as signups opening Jul 4, drip a couple audios every few days, hard start the following Friday. OVERTAKEN BY EVENTS: check current beta status in
Affirmology_PROJECT_STATE.md before acting on any of these dates.
- Concept -> Application -> Affirmation x3 segment template as a named structure rule.
- Fewer-topics-deeper-layers rule for reading-type audios.
- Player-level speed toggle (app feature, avoids re-renders).
- Context-first chatbot reading flow (collect context, then generate targeted audios).
- Verify v3-style checklist structure is flagged as a NEVER-again structure in the growth/feedback loop.
