Home / Audio / Music and Voice Beds
Updated Jun 18, 2026 · Affirmology_MusicTools_MasterList_v1.md
One consolidated index of every music source on the table, with links, cost, and where it fits. Two different jobs need different tools: PRODUCT BEDS (music embedded under the spoken affirmations in audios we SELL, the higher legal bar) and MARKETING MUSIC (investor film, trailers, ads). Voice always stays ElevenLabs; these are the music layer.
Companions: Affirmology_MusicLicensing_v1.md (what we can actually use + caveats), Affirmology_MusicToolkit_Catalog_v1.md (verified license terms), Affirmology_MusicAudition_Log_v1.md (audition pad). Terms verified June 2026; reconfirm at purchase, they change.
Suno - https://suno.com Unlimited custom beds in any vibe/BPM. Pro $10/mo or Premier $30/mo grant commercial use; rights persist for tracks made while subscribed. Free tier is non-commercial, never use it in the product. No indemnification; AI-music copyright unsettled. Already subscribed. Phase 1 workhorse.
Lyria 3 / Lyria 3 Pro (Google) - https://gemini.google.com (app) · https://cloud.google.com/vertex-ai (API) Lyria 3 Fast ~30s; Lyria 3 Pro up to ~3 min with real structure, instrumental or vocal, plus cover art. Commercial use on paid tiers, inaudible SynthID watermark, won't mimic named artists. Pricing bundled in Gemini: AI Plus $19.99/mo, Pro $29.99/mo, Ultra $99.99/mo; API ~$0.08/song on Gemini API / Vertex AI. Best NOW for marketing soundtracks (pairs with Higgsfield/Seedance); candidate for product beds and, later, API-generated per-user tracks. Verify Vertex redistribution-at-scale terms before embedding in the sold product.
ElevenLabs Music / Udio - https://elevenlabs.io · https://www.udio.com Other AI music options worth a look for product use; verify current commercial/redistribution terms before relying on either. (ElevenLabs music gen was NOT permitted on our current API key; that's a key-scope issue, separate from the consumer product.)
Meditation Music Library (Music of Wisdom) - https://meditationmusiclibrary.com · license: https://meditationmusiclibrary.com/pages/licensing-agreement Top pick for sold beds. Pay once per track, perpetual, royalty-free. Explicitly allows music under affirmations/guided meditation in a sold product and in apps (with VO over ≥1/3 of runtime). Must credit "Music of Wisdom"; no Content ID on the finished recording. Huge catalog (sleep, solfeggio, chakra, ambient, binaural).
Meditation Music Central - https://www.meditationmusiccentral.com · license: https://www.meditationmusiccentral.com/license Strong alternate, same pay-once perpetual model, allows selling unlimited copies, NO attribution required. Smaller catalog. Can't sell the music unmodified.
Sonic Spheres - https://www.sonicspheres.com/music-licensing · quote form: https://forms.gle/7xkDpx2NvEjRcyKL6 Therapeutic/wellness, with PPL + sync license docs. Signature-library license (instant, built for physical spaces; video/app integration is a paid upgrade) or fully custom commissions (5 to 60 min, frequency/brainwave design, 10 to 14 day turnaround, Barcelona). NO public pricing, quote-only. Deferred to Phase 2 (after funding) for owned Affirmology signature beds.
Soundstripe - https://www.soundstripe.com Has a meditation catalog and a commercial tier; confirm it allows music as the main/embedded listening experience in a sold product, not just video sync, before relying on it.
PremiumBeat (Shutterstock) - https://www.premiumbeat.com Creator $29 (no client work), Standard $49, Premium $199. Curated, broadcast quality. Confirm the tier language covers product embedding (Premium is the broad one).
Pond5 - https://www.pond5.com/royalty-free-music Large marketplace, pay-once royalty-free buyout; per-track terms vary, read each track's license.
Envato / AudioJungle - https://elements.envato.com/audio · https://audiojungle.net Per-track or subscription; check the license tier explicitly covers "music in an end product" you distribute.
TunePocket - https://www.tunepocket.com · license: https://www.tunepocket.com/licensing-agreement · pricing: https://www.tunepocket.com/pricing Subscription ($99/yr Personal, $199/yr Business) but the license is LIFETIME per downloaded track even after you cancel. Broad general catalog (not meditation-specialist depth), great range and price. Licenses for apps, games, podcasts.
Artlist - https://artlist.io Human-composed; anything published under an active plan stays licensed in perpetuity even after you cancel. Best for the investor/brand films and marketing video. For sold audio products, confirm in writing the license covers music embedded in a distributed audio product (likely fine as a bed, but get it confirmed) - or just use Suno/meditation libraries for product beds.
Epidemic Sound - https://www.epidemicsound.com Great catalog, supports apps, BUT active-only (coverage ends when you stop subscribing), wrong shape for a perpetual sold product. Business ~$100 to $220/mo; Enterprise bespoke/expensive. Not recommended for our beds.
ACE Studio - https://acestudio.ai · AI Instruments: https://acestudio.ai/ai-instruments All-in-one AI music studio. Core is AI vocal synthesis (sung voices, singer cloning); "AI Instruments" renders realistic instrument performances from MIDI/note input (strings: violin/viola/cello, saxophone, trumpet, and duduk), calculating legato, bow pressure, and articulation instead of triggering samples. Runs standalone and as a VST. NOT a fast bed generator (wants MIDI + hands-on shaping); it's a CRAFT tool for Phase 2 / signature-sound work. Best fits for Affirmology: (1) bespoke on-brand instrument lines layered into a bed, the duduk especially (breathy, sacred, perfect under meditative spoken word) or a solo cello; (2) sung/chanted mantra textures, wordless choral "ahh" pads, or a hummed motif floated under the ElevenLabs affirmations as a brand-differentiation layer. Cautions before product use: confirm the commercial-use license covers embedding output in a sold product, and singer-voice cloning carries the same consent issues as Fish (verify pricing + terms before committing). Jeff likes the layering idea (2026-06-17).
Phase 1 (now, POC + funding) - cheap: Suno (already subscribed, $0 incremental) for on-demand product beds across use cases, plus 2 to 3 pay-once Meditation Music Library beds only where the clean sold-product license matters (sleep, journey, morning). For the investor film/trailers/ads, use Lyria 3 (paid Gemini, commercial-OK) or Artlist. No subscriptions or buyouts beyond this yet.
Phase 2 (after funded): submit the Sonic Spheres form and commission owned, on-brand signature beds per use case (the Affirmology house sound). Revisit TunePocket / PremiumBeat if still useful. If pursuing API-generated per-user music (Lyria 3 Pro on Vertex), do the redistribution-at-scale license check first.
Never: free-tier Suno or social/creator-tier library music in anything we sell.
Always before buying: confirm the license explicitly allows a paid product, music embedded in audio you distribute, and voiceover over the track. Meditation-specific libraries are usually a clean yes; generic video libraries are where it gets murky.
The locked demo bed (Heavenly Circuit) is untouched by any of this.
