Recovered from a Cowork/DATA chat that vanished after a desktop update. Source transcript on disk:
/Users/jeffreyparker/.claude/projects/-Users-jeffreyparker-CLAUDE-AFFIRMOLOGY/d034111c-d8ac-425a-8064-81fe88426bef.jsonl (dated 7/9, ~839 msgs). This is a paste-in catch-up block for a fresh chat. Weighted toward where the work ended.
This was a DATA/engine-lane chat. It started narrow (Jeff wanted three stable links for macOS text-replacement shortcuts) and expanded into two connected threads:
Everything shipped in this chat is DATA-lane infra (results page, site plumbing, tracking). The rollout STRATEGY was deliberately handed off to Cowork via Affirmology_BetaRollout_Strategy_v1.md.
Dates in the chat: work happened 7/9. Note the launch timing decided here (Friday then Monday) has since been superseded (see section 5, cross-session note).
Final state at end of chat, all verified live, NOTHING SENT to any recipient:
/r/<code>) are live and 100% consistent for 17 people, with cookie identity + click logging + a page-event beacon.Affirmology_BetaRollout_Strategy_v1.md for Cowork.Links / shortcuts:
- Three shortcut links finalized:
- Mission and Opportunities PDF: https://media.affirmology.ai/docs/mission-and-opportunities.pdf
- Mission video (~6:50, 88.6 MB): https://media.affirmology.ai/experience/mission-video.mp4
- Jeff's results page: https://demo.affirmology.ai/result?j=90b35253-9ef1-467c-897d-af72144888eb
- Correction made mid-chat: jeff-sol-welcome.mp4 is the SHORT welcome talk embedded on the page, NOT the mission film. The real mission film is mission-video.mp4. Do not confuse them.
- Jeff's results page did not exist as a stable link (old natal_sacred proof-renders 404 now). A fresh Origin Soul Song was rendered through the sanctioned demo bridge; that ?j= link is now permanent (persisted server-side). Founders are excluded from Affirmology_PermanentLinks_Registry_v1.md, which is why Jeff had no page.
Mission screen:
- Problem diagnosed: the mission film sat buried low on result.html (after song, Mirror, outro, keep-note) with soft optional framing ("Where this is going"), while the warmer welcome video below with the Jeff+Sol faces poster pulled attention down. That is why people (Rodrigo) jumped to the wrong video.
- Fix shipped and approved: (a) hoisted the mission film to right after the song, (b) gave it a custom branded WATCH THIS NEXT play-screen (Orbit Star glyph, "The Affirmology Mission," glowing gold play button), (c) subordinated the welcome video to a secondary personal note, (d) removed the buried duplicate.
- Poster: best film still is the oracle council wheel around the gold Orbit Star at ~3:30, published to https://media.affirmology.ai/brand/mission-poster-council-v1.jpg. The approved treatment is the branded HTML play-screen (option 1); layering the council-wheel frame behind the cover is an offered, not-yet-done upgrade.
- Mirror: already correctly gated to only appear when a real mirror_url exists (result.html:1009), so it does not show until one is created. Nothing to remove.
Beta / conversion finding: - Confirmed against live data: ZERO of the 21 who got the 7/6 "join the Founding Constellation" email clicked yes through the email's agreement page. - The only real external commit was Elmira (shah_ellie@yahoo.com), via the results-page "I'm in" button. ~4 others (Alex de Carvalho, Arezu, Norm, Iman) said yes earlier via their results page at demo time. - Tell: the results-page button converts; the email to separate agreement-page flow converted nobody. The commit funnel itself works (not a bug). - Jeff's stated reframes: email is dead for this group (text is the channel); people think they already said yes (so "join the beta" reads as a confusing re-ask); he wants a new system to text people with tracked, person-linked pages that remember them via cookie or a typed name fallback.
Timing: - Started at Friday soft-launch, then Jeff moved it to Monday (reasons: app updates, new music beds, the initial journey not finished). Chat agreed Monday protects the first impression. (Superseded later, see section 5.)
Tracking / links infra (shipped this chat):
- Built tracked personal short links demo.affirmology.ai/r/<code> that drop a first-party aff_uid cookie = that person, log the click, and route to their existing results page. ?to=commit routes to the agreement/commit form. Identity stays connected across text, email link, or future audio email.
- Page-event beacon added to result.html: song play, mission film play + watch depth, PDF open, "I'm in" click, tied to identity across visits.
- Backing store is Cloudflare KV on the demo worker; a /api/track endpoint plus an admin read endpoint.
- Chose personal texts + tracked links over automated bulk SMS, because US A2P 10DLC carrier registration takes days to weeks. Jeff confirmed the list is small and he will text by hand.
- 17 tracked links minted (see section 5). Excluded per Jeff's holds: Amy Dholakia, Andrew Hague, Jenny Pruitt, Patrick Hilsbos, plus Mark Cleveland and Olga.
Also-built and side findings:
- Built a tokenless join page demo.affirmology.ai/in + /api/join handler (emails Jeff on each confirm). FLAGGED as having wrong copy ("we'll text you your audios" - audios actually come via TestFlight/app). Left live but unlinked.
- Security fix: demo.affirmology.ai/.git/config was returning HTTP 200 (whole repo publicly downloadable). Added .assetsignore; now 404.
- Deploy mechanism at that time: manual wrangler deploy, NOT git-auto-deploy (this is why pushes were not showing up; note this changed on 7/17 per MEMORY). An uncommitted whatsinstore.html iOS-scroll fix rode along on a deploy; Code chat should commit it.
- Staci Kessler noted as a tester, not an investor. Do not flag her as one.
/in page copy is wrong and needs a TestFlight reframe or retirement. It is live but unlinked; the per-person commit links are the preferred path.jeffparkerlove22/affirmology-site and jeffparkerlove22/affirmology-studio. Open questions before steps can be given: does Sol want to view/discuss or actually edit code, and does she have a GitHub account yet.Affirmology_BetaRollout_Strategy_v1.md.Docs (all exist on disk in project root):
- Affirmology_BetaRollout_Strategy_v1.md - the Cowork handoff: email-is-dead finding, Sun/Mon timing, text-not-email, "you're already in" reframe, commit-form text, post-yes TestFlight instructions, wiki + WhatsApp + explainer video, what is built, open decisions, sequence, and the DATA/Code/Cowork lane split.
- Affirmology_PermanentLinks_Registry_v1.md - one permanent results page per demo-taker for the 21; deliberately excludes founders (Jeff, Sol).
- Affirmology_LaunchWeek_OnePage_v1.md - launch-week open decisions (send timing, tester list, Tier 2 trigger, starting-audios set).
- Coordination: _CHAT_SYNC.md (deploys logged here for Code chat), _SHARED_CONTEXT.md (durable shared brain).

Excluded per holds: Amy Dholakia, Andrew Hague, Jenny Pruitt, Patrick Hilsbos, Mark Cleveland, Olga.
Code touched (DATA lane): result.html (mission screen + beacon), the demo worker (/in, /api/join, /r/*, /api/track, admin read, KV binding, .assetsignore), whatsinstore.html (unintended ride-along, Code to commit).
Secrets note: a live admin read-key and R2/Resend credentials were used in this chat. They exist in the transcript and deployed worker but are intentionally NOT reprinted in this recovery doc.
CROSS-SESSION CONTEXT NOT VISIBLE IN THIS TRANSCRIPT (reconcile before acting):
- Launch timing here (Friday then Monday, 7/9 era) is superseded. Current MEMORY: beta gated until launch (~7/26-8/1), market launch Aug 11. The app/TestFlight install funnel was later replaced by a holding page (founding.html); the old /in-style install path is closed until Jeff sets the date.
- Site deploy: this chat found manual wrangler deploy. As of 7/17, demo.affirmology.ai git-auto-deploys on push to master. Keep .assetsignore (node_modules + .git) or deploys leak/break.
- The full Cowork-side rollout discussion (post-yes flow, wiki, WhatsApp, explainer, TestFlight linking with Sol) continued in Cowork after this doc handed it off and is not in this transcript.
