Affirmology Lost Chat Recovery: Business Planning and Rollout

Recovered from the on-disk transcript of a Cowork chat dated 6/18 that vanished from the app after a software update. Paste the block below into a fresh chat to bring it fully up to speed. This recovery weights the end of the transcript most heavily.

Important honesty note up front: this particular chat was primarily a heavy engineering session (Studio build, chart integrity, Render cloud deploy, corpus model bake-off). The BUSINESS and ROLLOUT content was a real but secondary thread running through it, centered on investor materials, valuation, and equity structure. The launch-timing and beta-schedule planning (dates, tiers, go-to-market sequencing) was clearly happening in OTHER sessions, not this one. The master investor narrative doc is owned by a different Cowork chat. See section 5 for what lived elsewhere.

CATCH-UP BLOCK (copy from here down)

1. CONTEXT

This chat was Jeff Parker's AFFIRMOLOGY workspace. Affirmology turns a person's cosmic blueprint (astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, numerology) into hyper-personalized first-person affirmation audio (the "Sacred Audio"), framed as a software update for the Subconscious Operating System. The business thesis being sharpened for investors: the MERGER OF TWO WORLDS, transformational audio for the subconscious plus cosmic blueprint knowledge, bypassing straight to the subconscious for perfect identification, then alignment, then subconscious transformation. The pitch must hard-focus on the problem solved, how well it is solved, why it was not solved before now, why this team is the perfect steward, what could hold it back, and how those risks are overcome.

The business work in this session had two concrete jobs: (a) assemble a SAFE knowledge-sharing GitHub repo for Sol and Colin that includes investor-opportunity framing but excludes private ownership material, and (b) update the shareable Executive Summary with a new valuation structure after Jeff declared the old pitch deck stale.

2. WHERE IT WAS LEFT

3. KEY DECISIONS (business, rollout, positioning)

Valuation and equity: - The old ask "$30,000 for 10%" (implied roughly $300k valuation, from the old Josh-era pitch deck) is STALE and KILLED. The pitch deck itself is stale and out of the shareable set. - NEW two-tier valuation, now canonical in the shareable Executive Summary: - Bigger investors (checks about $150K to $250K) come in at a $1.0M anchor valuation. Example ladder: $150K = 15%, and scaling to 20% and 25% at higher checks. - The wider round (smaller checks) is at $1.5M. - Return ladders and illustrative figures were recomputed to stay internally consistent with the $150K = 15% at $1.0M anchor (proportional returns scaled by 1.5). - Private founder allocations, kept OUT of anything shared with Sol, Colin, or investors: Jeff 75%, Sol 20% with an earn-in to 30% (with vesting), Randy 1 to 3%. These live only in the internal Affirmology_ExecSummary_v3.html and the internal cap table, never in jpl-knowledge. - Sharing rule enforced: investor-opportunity framing (problem, solution, science, market, the ask in words, aggregate cap table showing what investors get vs what founders and team retain combined) is shareable. Individual allocations, per-person vesting, term-sheet specifics, and the full cap table are private. A grep gate (cap table|equity|shares|term sheet|vesting|ownership|% of the company|valuation|SAFE) runs before any push and Jeff confirms clean before it goes live.

Positioning / narrative: - Core thesis to lead with: merge transformational subconscious audio with cosmic blueprint knowledge; bypass straight to the subconscious for identification, then alignment, then transformation. - Investor narrative must cover: the problem and how well Affirmology solves it, why it has not been solved before, why the team is special and the perfect steward, how they are running with it, what could hold them back, and what they are doing to overcome it. Gather more input from Colin and Sol before the video script is written and visuals are built.

Product rollout signals (from the build work, relevant to what ships when): - The internal Studio is the create-and-test surface; Sol has started actually using it. The rigid "spine" (fixed opening and identity-seal ending) was un-locked so each audio type gets context-specific openings and endings. Only the locked natal demo keeps the old spine, byte-identical. - Chart integrity is now enforced end to end (no cross-chart contamination), and every render is chart-driven from real birth data or it fails loudly. - The engine moved toward cloud: affirmology-studio-api.onrender.com went live (R2 storage, auth locked, corpus in cloud), which is the infra that lets the demo and agents run without Jeff's laptop.

5. FILES AND REFERENCES

Referenced or created in this chat: - Affirmology_PROJECT_STATE.md (single source of truth, read first) - Affirmology_ExecSummary_v3.html (INTERNAL, the cap-table doc: Jeff 75% / Sol 20% earn-in to 30% / Randy 1 to 3%, vesting, valuation, SAFE discussion, per-investor returns) - Affirmology_InvestorBrief_v1.html (shareable, terms line redacted) - Affirmology_InvestorVideo_MasterDoc_v1.md (owned by the OTHER Cowork chat; the master investor-video narrative; not edited here) - Affirmology_KnowledgePack_v1.md (README of the jpl-knowledge repo) - Repo: https://github.com/jeffparkerlove22/jpl-knowledge (private, 24 files, live) - Repo: https://github.com/jeffparkerlove22/affirmology-studio (private, Studio code, Render deploy) - Old pitch deck PDF (Josh-era, "$30k for 10%") = STALE, excluded

Figures to carry forward: - Old: $30k for 10%, roughly $300k implied (DEAD) - New two-tier: $1.0M anchor for bigger checks ($150K to $250K, 15/20/25%); $1.5M for the wider round of smaller checks - Private founder split (never share): Jeff 75%, Sol 20% earn-in to 30%, Randy 1 to 3%

Context that clearly lived in OTHER sessions (not visible in this transcript): - The evolution of the pitch deck and Exec Summary happened in earlier "yesterday chats" Jeff referenced. - The investor-video master doc, its supporting research/data/psychology files, and the on-screen script are owned by a separate Cowork chat. - Any concrete launch timeline, beta schedule, and consumer pricing/tier structure were not planned in this chat and must be recovered from the other business/rollout sessions and current PROJECT_STATE / MEMORY.
