Quotable, defensible lines for the investor video and deck. Every fact here is a [HARD] or safely-ranged anchor. The soft and banned numbers live in the resource doc's do-not-use list. Backup: Affirmology_MarketDemandResearch_v1.md.
Each is true, sourced, and lands in one breath.
"Three in ten American adults use astrology, tarot, or fortune-telling every year. Among women under fifty, more than four in ten believe." (Pew, 2025) The buyer already exists, and she is exactly our demographic.
"One astrology app, Co-Star, turned a single daily text notification into thirty million users and a fifteen-million-dollar round from Spark Capital." (Statista; Axios 2021) The daily ritual is the product, and it monetizes.
"A bootstrapped astrology app called Nebula hit roughly fifty million dollars a year in revenue, growing two hundred and fifty percent, with no venture capital." (Tech.eu; The Next Web, 2023 to 2024) This category builds real revenue engines.
"In India, Astrotalk does over five million paid astrology consultations a month and around a hundred and forty million dollars a year." (BW Disrupt, FY25) Paid, chart-based readings scale to nine figures.
"Right now there are over five thousand listings on Etsy for a personalized birth-chart report, and the top sellers have tens of thousands of reviews." (Etsy, live June 2026) People pay real money for personalized charts, today, at scale.
"A single birth-chart report from a name astrologer sells for seventy dollars. A custom reading runs one hundred to four hundred." (Astrodienst; market pricing) The same input we use already commands premium prices.
"Calm and Headspace each crossed two-billion-dollar valuations selling audio you listen to." (Sacra; Business of Apps) Produced personalized audio is a proven, fundable format.
"Every one of these astrology apps ships text. Not one delivers a personalized, first-person audio built from your full chart. That intersection is empty, and that is the seat we take." (category review) The whitespace, stated as our wedge.
"Two proven, fundable categories collide here: personalized astrology, where Co-Star raised twenty-one million and Nebula prints fifty million a year, and produced audio wellness, where Calm and Headspace cleared two billion in value. Everyone ships text. Affirmology owns the empty intersection: personalized produced audio from your complete cosmic blueprint."
"And we are not just an app. The same astrology creators, Human Design and Gene Keys entrepreneurs, and coaches who already reach millions are our distribution. We give them a tool to turn their audience's blueprint into personalized audio and enroll their communities. Kajabi reached a two-billion-dollar valuation by enabling creators instead of competing with them. We do that in a category nobody owns yet."
"Cameo proved people pay for a personalized creator-to-fan product. It collapsed because it ran on human time. We are Cameo for your inner world, but AI-generated, so it scales, sold through the creator's own storefront, in a category with mainstream demand and no incumbent."

Saying these out loud makes investors trust the rest. - "Baseline belief in astrology is flat. The growth is in engagement and spend, and that is what we are capturing." - "Most people engage for fun and light insight, not prophecy. That is exactly why a daily wellness and identity ritual, not a prediction engine, is the right product." - "The billion-dollar TAM reports in this space contradict each other, so we anchor on company-level traction and Pew, not vendor forecasts."
