Affirmology Council Architecture & Wisdom Circle (v1)

Captured 2026-06-18 from Jeff's direction. This is the navigation map for the whole cast: how it is structured, who is in, the open naming questions, the special mechanics (morphing, animal forms), and the build sequence. Pairs with the visual lookbook (Affirmology_CouncilLookbook_v1.html) and the hero spec (Affirmology_OracleHeroSpec_Sophia-Hermes_v1.md).

The big idea: the cast is organized in circles, not one flat list

This is what lets us add endless cultural richness without bloating or trading anyone out.

1. THE SYSTEM - Atlas. The whole thing personified. Authority, the still center the cosmos orbits.
2. CORE ENGINE EXPERTS - the few who actually compute a chart. Small and fixed. Sophia (Western + synthesis, lead), Parashara (Vedic), Prometheus (Human Design), Athena (Gene Keys), Pythagoras (numerology).
3. THE MAKERS / LOOP - craft the audio. Orpheus, Apollo, Hypnos, Chiron, Persephone.
4. INTERFACE & LISTENER - Hermes (router and cross-world messenger), Echo (the listener).
5. RELATIONSHIP LENSES - Eros, Concordia, Hestia, Gaia.
6. THE WISDOM CIRCLE - world traditions that add context, transformation, representation, and feed custom audios. Expandable. This is the big open room Jeff loves. Adding here never forces a trade in the Engine.

The Wisdom Circle is also a content and audience engine: each tradition is a marketing lane and speaks to a real customer avatar (the Witchy Woman, the starseed and tarot crowd, the multicultural spiritual market). Diversity here is reach, not decoration.

The Wisdom Circle roster (first wave + roadmap)

DECISIONS (2026-06-18 late, Jeff)

• QUAN YIN is REMOVED; the FEMALE TAO ABSORBS her (compassion, mercy, being heard fold into the Tao's flow/yin/receptive nature). One fewer figure, no loss of theme.
• CHRISTIAN MYSTIC = HILDEGARD (von Bingen), tentative pick for that slot.
• AGASTYA confirmed in the Vedic/Nadi seat (replaces Parashara).
• DOMAIN OWNERS: career/vocation = ATHENA ("unless/until someone better"); health/body/vitality = OPEN, leaning Ix Chel (alt Gaia or the Female Tao).
• DELIVERY TIERING (important): most client-facing messages are carried by the CORE ENGINE EXPERTS (Sophia, Athena, Prometheus) + Hermes, even when a Wisdom Circle voice or a domain playbook informed the reading behind the scenes. DIRECT Wisdom Circle contact (a client talking with Lakshmi, Rumi, Isis, etc.) is reserved for certain deep things and the HIGHER MEMBERSHIP TIERS with deep chatbot functionality. So the Wisdom Circle is primarily a knowledge/synthesis layer + a premium surface, not the default voice. Domain methods: Affirmology_DomainPlaybooks_Lakshmi_v1.md.

Open decisions to resolve (the ones Jeff is chewing on)

1. The African voice (wanted strongly)

Two complementary moves, not either/or: - Re-style Persephone as authentically African. She is already our black-and-gold Nero marble figure. Give her African features and hair (textured, braided, or a crown of locs) rather than a Western woman rendered in dark stone. This makes the representation real, not just a color swap. - Add a dedicated African Wisdom voice. JEFF'S PICKS (2026-06-18): Oshun (Yoruba, love/rivers/abundance, beloved in diaspora spirituality) AND a Dogon star-sage (the Dogon are famous for ancient Sirius astronomy, a literal African astrologer-lineage, deeply on-theme). Both in. Yemoja/Yemaya and Egyptian Nut remain available as the cast widens.

2. Parashara feels too obscure for Western ears

True. It reads as legitimacy to Indian audiences and as a strange word to everyone else. Options: - Keep Parashara as the technical Vedic engine seat (he is THE jyotish rishi, real lineage), and bring the recognizable Indian names into the Wisdom Circle instead: Lakshmi (abundance), and optionally Ganesha (remover of obstacles, hugely recognizable) or Buddha / Siddhartha (maximum recognition; technically the awakening tradition that grew out of Vedic India, so a Wisdom voice for liberation rather than the jyotish seat). - Front the Vedic seat with a friendlier name if you would rather. The honest trade: recognizable Indian names (Patanjali, Ganesha, Krishna, Buddha) are not astrologers, so using one for the computing seat is less authentic than Parashara. Recommendation: keep Parashara doing the math, let Buddha/Lakshmi/Ganesha carry the recognition in the Wisdom Circle. - DECIDED (2026-06-18): SRI AGASTYA replaces Parashara in the Vedic/Nadi seat. The sage of the Nadi scroll tradition (South Indian palm-leaf readings), a real, specific, sought-after mystical astrology practice (Jeff has had a Nadi reading). His attribute is the palm-leaf scroll he reads from. More evocative AND more legitimate than a generic jyotish name. - DECIDED: SIDDHARTHA joins the Wisdom Circle (not the engine seat). Theme: awakening, liberation, the end of suffering. Maximum recognition.

3. Mayan and other traditions feed custom audios

Mayan astrology (Tzolk'in day-signs) and other wisdom traditions come in as custom and bonus audio readings, not necessarily core engine. Ix Chel is the proposed face. This is a roadmap item, not first-wave-urgent.

4. Animism and spirit totems (future upgrade feature)

A whole future layer of the Wisdom Circle: animism and spirit-totem wisdom, a potentially huge catalog of animal guides, totems, and nature spirits a person can be matched to and hear from. Pairs naturally with the animal-form mechanic below (Athena's owl, Hermes's serpent). Framed as an eventual premium upgrade feature, not first-wave. Handle living Indigenous totem traditions with the same respect guardrail (public, non-sacred sources, no appropriation of specific sacred lineages).

5. More traditions to fold in (noted 2026-06-18, NOT urgent)

These are flagged to capture, not to build now. The priority is nailing the first hero avatars. Little characters that "pop their heads" as the cast widens. - Agastya - Vedic/Nadi seat (see decision 2 above). Likely replaces Parashara. - Egypt, confirmed needed. Isis (magic/healing), Nut (the sky goddess who is the night sky itself), and Thoth (which can also be one of Hermes's morph-forms). At least one dedicated Egyptian face. - Oshun + Dogon star-sage - the African voices, both in. - Celtic - a Druid / bardic seer. Names: Taliesin (the bard-seer), Cerridwen (goddess of transformation and the cauldron), or a Druid astronomer (Coligny tree-calendar). Celtic tree astrology is a real lane. - Siberian - the root of the word "shaman" (Tungus). A Siberian shaman voice, drum and spirit-journey energy. Pairs with the future animism layer. - These all live in the Wisdom Circle and come online over time.

6. Expansion ideas (2026-06-18 evening session)

• HERMES QUETZALCOATL dragon LOCKED as the fully-feathered, winged marble-and-gold serpent (job e9d49030), the legendary rare morph.
• THE TAO, represented properly (and likely FEMALE). A single parked "Laozi" undersells Taoism. Jeff's lean: the Tao as a FEMALE embodiment, which is textually grounded (the Tao Te Ching calls the Tao "the mysterious female," "the spirit of the valley," the receptive yin that mothers all things). Render her as a serene flowing woman embodying water, mist, yin, the yin-yang, the valley; jade-green and cream. Possible names: Xiwangmu (Queen Mother of the West), He Xiangu (the female Immortal), or keep her as "the Tao" / a feminine sage. Plus a distinct I Ching / Fu Xi figure for the trigrams and Chinese astrology (the Book of Changes is genuinely a divination/cosmology system, astrology-adjacent), and weave yin-yang as a recurring motif. Optional: Laozi (on his ox) and Zhuangzi as additional Taoist flavors.
• MODERN WISDOM category (Jeff: "we need modern wisdom too"). Beyond Jung ("Young") and the neuroscientist, a set of recent 20th-century synthesizers, all rendered in MODERN dress (marble statues in suits/glasses): Joseph Campbell (the hero's journey), Ken Wilber (integral), Alan Watts (East-to-West translator, would also be a great modern bridge to the Tao and Zen), Carl Sagan (cosmic wonder, "star stuff", bridges astronomy and awe, perfect fit), and optionally Maslow (self-actualization), Viktor Frankl (meaning), Ram Dass (Be Here Now). Living people are off-limits; use recognizable deceased figures.
• FEMININE EMBODIMENT / SOMATICS guide (Jeff wants this). The body's wisdom: could be a Tantric/Shakti or yogini figure tied to the chakra system and breath, or a modern somatic-embodiment guide, or merged with the female Tao (flow/yin/the body's natural way). Feminine, warm, embodied.
• SOL BALLARD, "Mindset Ninja" - a founder (gorgeous Black woman, incredible hair). Reserved spot in the master sheet. DO NOT render until Jeff provides photos; build her from real photos (GPT Image 2 from photos, or a trained Soul from 5-20 photos).
• FEMALE TAO - LOCKED (the screen-facing/front-facing take, job c6a448b9; flowing valley-spirit yin, water and mist, yin-yang, jade-and-gold). The EMBODIMENT GUIDE and the CURANDERA were DROPPED: the embodiment guide read too close to Concordia (Black woman) and the curandera too close to Gaia (Indigenous earth-mother). LEARNING: a diverse-by-design addition must also be VISUALLY and role-distinct from existing council members, not just demographically different; check for redundancy before adding.
• ROSTER TRIMMED (Jeff, 2026-06-18 late), coverage logic: STILL TO RENDER (short list): OSHUN (Yoruba, the West African voice), a CHRISTIAN MYSTIC (Hildegard, or an Eastern Orthodox light-mystic), and an ASIAN/POLYNESIAN figure that is additive (lean a woman, more monk-like or priestess, e.g. a Polynesian star-priestess or an Asian Buddhist nun). OPTIONAL: a Dogon star-sage, an Andean/Inca Condor figure. DROPPED as covered elsewhere: the Zoroastrian Magus (Rumi's Persian lineage), the West African griot (Oshun is stronger), the Astronomer of Awe (cosmic wonder is already everywhere in the brand), I Ching/Fu Xi + Quan Yin + Laozi (all carried by the FEMALE TAO), the Kabbalist as a character (use the TREE OF LIFE as a recurring MOTIF; Trismegistus the wizard already holds the Hermetic/esoteric thread), Odin (Taliesin the Celt covers the Northern pagan-nature mystic), and the modern-wisdom name list / embodiment guide (covered by Young + the Neuroscientist + Sol Ballard, and the embodiment guide doubled Concordia). So the remaining Wisdom Circle work is just Oshun + a Christian mystic + an Asian/Polynesian priestess, plus SOL BALLARD from photos.
• MODERN WISDOM, FUNCTION-FIRST (Jeff's reframe, important): don't start from famous (white, male) thinkers; start from what the APP talks about and cast a diverse face for each function. Map: rewiring the brain = the Neuroscientist (Black man, done); the body's wisdom = the Embodiment Guide (woman of color); the inner shadow = "Young"; your life as a story = a WEST AFRICAN GRIOT (instead of Campbell, same function richer face); cosmic wonder = an Astronomer of Awe (a woman or person of color, instead of Sagan); mindset/belief = SOL BALLARD (Mindset Ninja, founder); flow/presence = the female Tao. Use recognizable real (deceased) names only where recognition truly earns it. RUMI note: he is Persian (post-Islamic Sufi), and Persia's deep root is Zoroastrian, the MAGI who were the original astrologers, so Rumi carries the heart/love thread while a distinct Zoroastrian MAGUS carries the astrology-origin thread.
• GAP MAP, biggest missing traditions to consider (by impact): (1) the ROOTS OF ASTROLOGY ITSELF, a Babylonian/Chaldean star-priest or a Zoroastrian Magus (the original astrologers), thematically huge for an astrology product. (2) Chinese astrology / I Ching (with the Tao expansion above). (3) POLYNESIAN star-navigator / wayfinder (reading the stars to cross the ocean, astrology-as-navigation, gorgeous and underrepresented). (4) ANDEAN / Inca (Pachamama, the Condor, completes the Eagle-and-Condor pairing, South American Indigenous). (5) Japanese SHINTO / ZEN. (6) Tibetan (Kalachakra), distinct from Siddhartha. Gender/representation note: keep balancing; lean into more women (the female Tao, the embodiment guide, Quan Yin, Oshun, Hildegard, Sol Ballard) since the council still skews male.

Special mechanics (these make the cast feel alive)

Hermes the shape-shifter (flagged as a priority to flesh out)

Hermes is the one who moves across worlds and traditions, the messenger archetype that recurs everywhere. He should get multiple looks / morphs, because the same trickster-messenger appears as: - Greek Hermes - winged sandals, caduceus, quick and youthful. - Thoth - Egyptian, ibis-headed, the scribe of the gods and keeper of sacred writing. - Quetzalcoatl - Mesoamerican feathered serpent / dragon form. - Hermes Trismegistus - the thrice-great wizard-alchemist, the Hermetic sage. - Emerald Tablets / Atlantean Hermes - a more ancient, Atlantean mystic form. He "zips," he morphs. This is a feature: in app and video he can transform between forms. Flesh him out with a multi-look character sheet of his own. - HERMES BY CONTEXT + RARE MORPHS (Jeff, 2026-06-18, refined): Hermes shows the form that fits the moment, so each face means something, with a thin layer of rare surprise on top. Mapping: GREEK young Hermes = the messenger default (chat, navigation, router/front desk); TRISMEGISTUS the wizard = astrology and chart-reading contexts (the cosmic blueprint; "as above so below" is literally Hermetic); THOTH the ibis = wisdom contexts (teaching, written reports/PDFs, the scribe of knowledge); ATLANTEAN (Emerald Tablets) = rare deep-mystery / hidden-knowledge morph; QUETZALCOATL the dragon = the rarest legendary surprise (could be tied to a milestone like the first audio or an anniversary so it feels earned). Build: contextual base picker by role, plus a small random chance of a rare morph (Atlantean or dragon) any time. Forms and the chosen wizard (gold tablet, live eyes) shown in CLAUDE OUTPUTS/Affirmology/Affirmology_Hermes_ShapeShifter_v1.html.

Animal forms

• Athena sometimes becomes an owl.
• (Same pattern available for others where the myth supports it.) This gives the brand a magical transformation language that pairs beautifully with the living-statue "wakes when it speaks" eye mechanic.

Representation snapshot (so balance stays intentional)

• Geography: Greece, Persia, India, Egypt and Africa, East Asia, Mesoamerica, North America.
• Gender: women as headliners in their own right (Sophia, Athena, Persephone, Isis, Lakshmi, Quan Yin, Ix Chel, an Orisha, the relationship lenses), not via gender-swapping famous men.
• Stone tones: cream, honey, bronze, black-and-gold, verde, spread across the cast.

NAVIGATION: how we move through this, in order

1. Lock the two heroes. Atlas (right-image direction, glowing eyes) and Sophia (flowing hair). DONE pending your final yes.
2. Build the hero character sheets. Train a reusable Soul for Atlas and Sophia, then produce a Higgsfield character-direction sheet for each: the same face from multiple angles, expressions, and the rest/speaking eye states, plus their bio and attributes, so they can be dropped into any scene or world. This is the "plug into a world" asset.
3. World-building. Define the emerald-and-gold world they live in (the council chamber, the observatory, the night sky) so all characters share a place.
4. Wisdom Circle concept sheet. One suggested avatar bust for each remaining character (the whole roster above), as a single contact sheet for you to react to, instead of scattered chats.
5. Hermes deep-dive. His own multi-look sheet across all his forms (Greek, Thoth, Quetzalcoatl, Trismegistus, Atlantean), since he is the morphing connective character.
6. Backfill the council to the locked DNA, assigning stone tones and the open names as we settle them.

Still-open name picks to settle (quick hits)

• African voice: Oshun / Yemoja / Dogon star-sage / Nut, and whether to also re-style Persephone as African.
• Parashara: keep as engine seat (recommended) vs front with a recognizable name.
• Indigenous North American elder: confirm the respectful "Earthkeeper / Skywatcher" approach and a non-appropriative name.
• Buddhist seat: Quan Yin (recommended, recognizable) vs the deeper-cut options.
