The guiding vision for the user experience, captured from Jeff (2026-06-25). LIVING doc, edit in place. This is the lens everything else serves: the daily suite, the constellation journeys, the emotional categories, the adaptive personalization, the naming, and the Atlas controls.

The single guiding metric: does a new user come back EVERY DAY for the first week, so they truly "get it"? Everything is built to win week one. Week one is where the holy-shit recognition lands and the daily habit forms, and the daily habit is what reaches the subconscious. Design every decision against "does this pull them back tomorrow."
A user should always have a small set of things to listen to across the rhythm of a day: - BEDTIME: something for right before sleep. - MORNING: something first thing on waking. - VISIONING / MAGNIFY THE DAY: a visualization that sets and amplifies the day. - MIDDAY: a gym / motivational, identity-based track for the middle of the day. - A FEW READINGS: a couple of ~10-minute readings to deeply know themselves (The Mirror style). Do NOT overwhelm; a couple, not a pile. We already have two strong ones: one rides in with the demo (the Origin Soul Song moment), the other is immediately in the app.
This daily suite IS the week-one loop. It gives them a reason to open the app morning, midday, and night, which is exactly the repetition the subconscious work needs.
For nearly everyone, the entry is the same shape: 1. They come through the DEMO (the Origin Soul Song moment). 2. We IDENTIFY their progression and what is most pertinent for them, with a FEW intake QUESTIONS asked as they get in. 3. We chart an INITIAL PROGRAM for them: the first audios and information, tuned to land HARD on their identity, their most pertinent themes, immediate breakthroughs, and new information.
The job of that first experience is to hook them on two things at once: RECOGNIZING how useful this information is to their actual life, and the HABIT of coming back to the app many times a day to listen to the program charted for them. We land that experience so hard, with a little of all the modalities woven in, that they branch out only later, when they want to.
This holds even for someone who came mainly for, say, Gene Keys: they still get the integrated identity-first experience, because we hit the identity piece so hard they think "oh, this is THE astrology app for me." The initial program is the same powerful front door regardless of what drew them.
Do NOT segment Human Design over here, Gene Keys over there, astrology somewhere else. For the initial users, INTEGRATE everything into an identity hit so strong they say "holy shit, this is so good." Gene Keys, Human Design, astrology, numerology, Vedic, all of it serves one thing first: nailing who they are. Only AFTER that recognition lands do users branch and go niche into the depths of any single system. Integration first, specialization second.
A key reframe: the user-facing categories are about the EXPERIENCE, not the system behind it. Think in these axes, not "Human Design here, Vedic there": - TIME OF DAY: bedtime, morning, midday. - EMOTIONAL / ENERGETIC MODE: - Slow, deep, meditative journeys that bring imagery and visualization. - BAM, hard, hypnotic, faster-moving "I am this, I am that" fire-lighters (used AFTER the identity base is laid, to light the fire). - Soothing, cathartic, empowering, awe, and other emotional targets. - THREE-STEP STAGE: identity/recognition, alignment, transformation. The modality (HD, Gene Keys, Vedic) is the SOURCE under the hood; the user meets it as an emotional, time-of-day experience. We nail these experience categories rather than leading with system silos.
THE SYNTHESIS GENIUS (cross-system asides): throughout any track, we can drop a tasteful aside that crosses systems: "this is outside the modality you are focused on, but the fact that your Sun is in X probably puts this layer in context." That ability to synthesize ACROSS astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, numerology, and Vedic, and extract useful, usable meaning for a person's actual life, is the core genius of the app. We take an overwhelmingly complicated map and turn it into synthesized, usable information. Every track can lean on every system when it serves the recognition.
The app charts the right course for each person and evolves with them: - REPETITION for the information that lands; DE-EMPHASIZE and REPLACE what does not land for that person. - Hit them with DIFFERENT ANGLES of receiving the same truth: a reading, an affirmational audio, an identity-strong piece, a slow visualization, a fast hypnotic "I am" piece. Different doors to the same recognition. - Responsive to WHERE THEY ARE: Jeff is ready for the Pearl sequence now (he has done the Venus healing work); someone else is not ready for Pearl yet. Meet each person at their stage. - Responsive to THEIR PERTINENT ISSUE: more in relationships, branch there; more in money, branch there; more in career, branch there. - Informed by: their chart (identity across all modalities from birth info), what we learn from their CHATBOT interactions, a FEW QUESTIONS we ask here and there, and their PROGRESS on the map. - The "right now" hook: a user says "this is what's going on with me right fucking now," and we run that question through the lens of everything we know about them, then chart a path to clarity and freedom: some identity, some alignment/recognition, some transformation/rewiring. The three-step process, applied live.
As people go down their tracks, the app does more than play audio. It surfaces the readings and reports they can READ in-app (the logical-mind layer, offered after the audio has moved them), plus journaling prompts, small practices, tips, guidance, and motivation, and it EDUCATES inside the app. Some people will not need this; for others, hearing these suggestions will be mind-blowing.
This is a dedicated BACKEND AGENT, and she has a name and a face: THE MINDSET NINJA, one of the founders, immortalized in the app. Her job is to weave the micro-content in TASTEFULLY throughout the experience: the right journaling prompt after the right audio, a small practice when it fits ("take a few breaths and repeat this mantra to yourself"), a tip or a piece of education at the right moment, motivation when it lands. It is curation and timing, not clutter; she draws on the person's chart, their progress, their chatbot conversations, and the audio they just heard to choose what to slip in, and she knows when to stay quiet. Her FACE appears throughout (not on every single piece, but enough that users know it comes from her), making her a fun, recognizable, beloved part of the app, the founder who shows up to help millions move through their day better. Keep it fun and human.
This agent is a real build item for the backend, alongside the council and Hermes. (Need: her face/persona assets, and her voice/tone guidelines.)
The chatbot is not just Q and A; it is how we learn what each person actually needs. As they ask their own questions and we get our answers, we learn so much about them, and that shapes WHAT AUDIOS THEY GET next day and next week. It is also where we earn retention by throwing a custom audio in here and there, which makes them feel special, teaches them more, and keeps them coming back. Chatbot insight plus a few asked questions plus their progress map plus celestial triggers all feed the adaptive engine that charts their evolving program.
Put everything through the IDENTIFY, ALIGN, TRANSCEND lens, at the JOURNEY level. A branch (wealth, relationships, a Gene Keys sequence, a Vedic exploration) is a journey that moves a person from recognizing who they are, to aligning with it, to transforming and rewiring. Organize around these journeys and the emotional/time-of-day experiences, with the modality as the source material the journey draws on. People will want to branch ("now I have some clarity here, I'd love to learn what Vedic says about me"), and we go deep there with Vedic readings and Vedic-themed affirmations. Responsive, evolving, always serving transformation through repetition and an increasingly aligned new identity.
Relationships are a major category, not an afterthought. Users will want to enter birth information for the people in their lives, family members, lovers, someone they just started dating or might, friends, business partners, coworkers, and learn about the synergy, the challenges, and the clarity in each, across romantic, business, family, and friendship lenses. They get those revelations in ALL the formats: affirmational audios, readings, visual reports, and guidance. The engine for this already exists (the synastry engine relationship.py plus the relationship oracles Eros for romance, Concordia for business and working, Hestia for family, Gaia for the collective), so this is surfacing what we have built.
THE VIRAL LOOP (this is the growth engine): a user CANNOT send the revelations about a relationship to that other person unless that person becomes a MEMBER. So we make it one button: send them the marketing, the pitch, the opportunity to join. When they join, the relationship piece is ALREADY UNLOCKED for them, so they arrive to a personalized relationship reading about a real person in their life, waiting for them. Every relationship a user explores becomes a potential new member, and that new member lands inside a "holy shit" moment on day one. This is built-in, personal, high-intent referral, and it compounds.
Notes to handle: entering another person's birth data is for the user's own exploration; SHARING it requires the other person to join (which is also the consent gate). Keep the invite tasteful and the privacy posture clean. This category also carries natural upsells (deeper relationship dives, family and business mapping) per the membership doc.
For retention we will almost always create some custom content for each person: - MONTHLY and CELESTIAL triggers: a new moon, a notable transit, a fresh astrological moment becomes a reason to give them new custom audio or new information. - USER-STATED needs: when they tell us what is going on, we make something for it. - Constraint (now): we cannot burn a gazillion credits making six new audios per person per day yet. The near-term trick is charting the right course (repetition of what lands, refresh angles), not infinite new renders. As cheaper voices land (Fish), per-person custom volume can grow.
Bring the Wisdom Council and the oracle teachers in as interesting, fun experiences for the user, especially in the educational sessions and the chat. BUT, for now: - Do NOT create a unique Fish voice per oracle for the readings/reports; that is problematic and unnecessary right now. - Stick with the HANDFUL of known-working voices for each audio type (e.g., the warm male storyteller for readings, the female Soul Song voice, etc.). - Let the oracle PERSONALITY and the educator's character come through in the CHAT and the conversation, not via a distinct synthesized voice per oracle. Eventually, voice selection per oracle may come; not now.
Gene Keys, all three sequences, each in two formats now, plus a long journey later: - ACTIVATION (genius and purpose): nail it as affirmational audio(s) in a journey AND as a reading. Anchor this one first. - VENUS (heart and relating): affirmational audio(s) AND a reading. - PEARL (prosperity and vocation): affirmational audio(s) AND a reading. - THE FULL GENE KEYS JOURNEY: at some point, a super-long meditative journey weaving all three sequences together. HUMAN DESIGN, full treatment too (a READING and AFFIRMATIONAL audios, same as the Gene Keys sequences). The insight: HD detail (this line, that channel, open vs closed centers) is brutally hard to retain on your own; the app's informational audios already do this phenomenally (what open and closed centers mean, etc.). We dissect the main stuff into their HUMAN DESIGN STORY plus USABLE TOOLS for how they move energy, delivered through both an affirmational audio and a reading. Keep the deeper esoteric aspects (what to eat, environments, the variable arrows by the head) as OPTIONAL or later; unclear yet how much that detail matters to most people. The win is turning the complicated bodygraph into synthesized, usable information.
Plus the daily-suite pieces (bedtime, morning, visioning, midday motivational) and The Mirror reading. Visioning can be themed (a Purpose visioning, a Wealth visioning), not just one general one.
Context: Jeff and Sol will be in the car on a trip right before and after the beta launch, creating in Atlas via Hermes, back and forth, making audios for each other, listening in the car, giving feedback. The system runs in the cloud, adapts, grows, makes tweaks, and pushes results to populate the beta app and respond to live usage.
Atlas needs CONTROLS to tweak the features and aspects of each audio, adjustable directly OR through the Hermes conversation. Central to this: per-audio METRICS we can view and tune. Starting set (expand over time): - IDENTITY strength (1 to 10). - TRANSFORMATION strength (1 to 10). - ENERGY / INTENSITY (gentle and meditative to BAM hypnotic fire-lighter). - PACING / TEMPO (and whether to slow it down). - EMOTIONAL TONE / TARGET (soothing, empowering, cathartic, awe, etc.). - PSYCHOLOGICAL and SOMATIC TOOLS employed (breath / heart coherence, EFT tapping, visualization, gratitude, parts work, cord-cutting, etc.). - THREE-STEP STAGE (identify / align / transcend). - TIME-OF-DAY fit (bedtime / morning / midday / anytime). - THEME / USE-CASE (identity, wealth, relationships, career, etc.). - APPROXIMATE DURATION. - MODALITY SOURCE lean (even though integrated). - VOICE and MUSIC BED used. - REPETITION ROLE (daily-driver vs occasional-deep). These metrics are three things at once: creation CONTROLS (tweak directly or via chat), DATA we analyze, and the inputs the adaptive engine uses to chart each person's course. Go beyond this list as patterns emerge; the intent is a rich, tunable profile for every audio.
V1 is the TESTING app: get cool audios to the beta testers, and TEST A LOT (this way A or this way B, listen to both, give feedback), so we collect DATA from MULTIPLE people, not just what Jeff Parker wants. That distributed feedback is the whole point. V1 informs a later V2 that tests the paying-new-user experience. Build V1 around tracking, delivery, A/B, and multi-person feedback.
Beyond getting people into the ~$20/month experience, we have to work out how to UPSELL into the more expensive uses and how to GATEKEEP certain features. This is an open strategic workstream (see Affirmology_MembershipPricing_Living.md); the beta data will inform where the lines fall.
