Date: 2026-06-27 Status: v1 LOCKED, pending a gut-check with Sol and Colin (they may prefer the one-orb only; Jeff is fine with that simplification).

The mark: "Orbit Star"

A gold, faceted eight-point compass-rose star (the person) sitting inside a gold circle crossed by a tilted elliptical orbit that carries gold orb(s) (the cosmic blueprint, in motion). Deep emerald background.

Atlas (the studio app, sister mark)

Atlas gets its own icon: a golden astrolabe (ornate concentric zodiac rings with a small celestial sphere/star core) on deep emerald. Chosen because Atlas is an internal tool with few icon uses, so it can carry more detail; the main use is a premium homescreen feature button. It echoes the Orbit Star's rings/cosmos language but is clearly distinct. Reference vibe: antique brass astrolabe / armillary sphere. Final selection pending (the cleaner astrolabe, ring at top removed).

Backgrounds

All marks use the richer, deeper emerald radial background (#0e3a24 center to #0a2014 edge), not the older flat green. Applied to the two-orb, one-orb, and astrolabe.

Production notes

Next steps (to finalize the asset set)

  1. Jeff uploads the two final PNGs (two-orb and one-orb) as file attachments so they are accessible as files.
  2. Generate the iOS app-icon set (1024 master + all required sizes) from the two-orb (primary).
  3. Generate the small-icon set + favicon (16, 32, 48, 180, 192, 512) from the one-orb (variant).
  4. Produce transparent-background cutouts and the AFFIRMOLOGY wordmark lockup.
  5. Save all into Brand/.
