Goal: replace the weak demo checkbox and kill the Bloom manual problem (hand-make a record, hand-make a contract, hand-send it) with a self-serve gate in front of the demo: the invitee views and signs a real NDA, we automatically get a tracked record, and the demo only opens once that record exists. No per-person manual work.
Use a self-serve e-signature tool with reusable links + webhooks. Two good choices: - DocuSign PowerForms (recommended for speed + recognition): create the NDA as a template, generate one reusable PowerForm link, anyone can open and self-sign, the signed PDF is stored automatically, and a webhook posts the record to Airtable. No per-person setup, this is the direct fix for Bloom. Most recognizable to investors. - Dropbox Sign (recommended if we want it embedded in our own branded page with tighter flow control): strong API + embedded signing + webhooks, cheaper, developer-friendly. Better if we want the signing to happen inside the Affirmology gate page rather than a redirect. Either kills the manual problem. PowerForms = fastest to stand up; Dropbox Sign = most integrated/branded.
You want a real "DocuSign-type" signature, so the gate uses a full e-signature for the people we let in at this stage (allies, lab, investors), it signals seriousness and is the most defensible. A lighter clickwrap (scroll the full NDA + "I agree" + name/email, logged with timestamp/IP) is the fallback if we need something deployable in a day, or for a future higher-volume tier. Recommendation: full signature now (low volume, high-trust invitees), clickwrap reserved for later scale.
Signed NDA → webhook (or Zapier/Make if no native hook) → Airtable CRM record with email, track, signed-at, and the commitment answers. That's the whole point: the invitee does the work, the record creates itself, you never hand-build a contract again.
On the gate, after the signature, 1 - 2 quick questions: "Which best describes you?" (tester / co-creator / investor / curious) and "Are you up for completing the journey and giving feedback?" That captures intent so you can route, prioritize, and lovingly defer the non-committed, without letting anyone in to do nothing.
If full e-sign wiring runs tight before the 22nd, deploy the branded gate page with a DocuSign PowerForm link (least build, real signatures, auto-record) as v1, and add the embedded/Access-allowlist polish after. That gets a legit signed-NDA gate live for Monday.
