Affirmology Growth Engine Plan v1 - the nightly crawler as a multi-channel growth flywheel

The corpus crawler is one output of a bigger machine: a nightly intelligence-and-growth engine. It learns from the spaces where our audience already lives (Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, and the wider cosmic-blueprint / subconscious-audio world), turns that into ideas, affiliates, aesthetics, corpus, and content, and feeds a set of growth projects. YouTube curated tracks are the flagship. This plan covers the channels, what we extract, the flagship funnel, the brand-account strategy (and where the lines are), and the honest "best way to actually do this" given each platform's reality.

The flywheel

Listen (nightly across channels) → Catalog (the intelligence asset) → Act (growth projects: curated tracks, affiliate outreach, content, product ideas) → Measure (what funnels to the app) → feed it back into Listen. The crawler is the listening + cataloging engine; the growth projects are what it powers.

Channels and the right access method for each (this is the "best way")

Different platforms have wildly different automation realities. Use the easy, clean ones for the nightly muscle and treat the hostile one (Instagram) with care.

Reddit - easy, official API, do this first

Reddit has a real API and is automation-friendly. This is the best channel for "what do people actually want?" Nightly searches across r/astrology, r/humandesign, r/genekeys, r/Numerology, r/spirituality, r/meditation, r/selfimprovement: the questions people ask, the language they use, what frustrates them about existing tools, what they wish existed. Pure goldmine for product ideas, hooks, and corpus-gap signals. Clean and cheap.

YouTube - easy, official Data API, the flagship channel

The YouTube Data API gives channels, video metadata, titles, tags, view/like counts, and comments, all legitimately. Two jobs: 1. Intelligence: which channels/formats/titles/lengths/thumbnails/music styles win in the subconscious-audio and cosmic-blueprint space; what topics are surging; what the comments reveal people want. 2. The funnel (below): publish our own curated tracks where that audience already searches.

Instagram - the hard one, no clean read API, handle with care

Instagram has no good official API for reading arbitrary accounts, and aggressively blocks scraping/automation. Options, least-risky first: - Curated, human-in-loop review of YOUR saved collections (recommended start). Jeff maintains bookmark/Saved folders of the accounts that matter; Cowork + Claude-in-Chrome, on a DEDICATED account (not Jeff's main, to keep the main safe from automation flags), reviews those saved posts on a modest cadence (a few times a week, Jeff-triggered), reading captions, formats, and aesthetics. This reads like normal human browsing of one's own saves, the gentlest footprint. Best first move. - Paid IG-data provider (Apify-style scrapers, social-listening platforms) if IG becomes a core channel and we need it scaled/nightly. More robust, costs money, ToS-gray, evaluate later. - Avoid: aggressive headless nightly scraping from Jeff's main account, that's how accounts get flagged and banned. The dedicated-account + saved-folders + supervised-cadence approach gets the signal without torching anything. Jeff's instinct (dedicated account, share the bookmark folders, run via Chrome/Cowork) is right; the refinement is keep it supervised and modest-frequency, not blind nightly automation, because IG punishes the latter.

Later: Pinterest and TikTok

Both are strong for aesthetic/mood mining (Pinterest) and short-form discovery (TikTok). Add once Reddit/YouTube/IG are humming.

What we extract, mapped to your goals

  1. Ideas + market needs (Reddit primary; YouTube comments; IG captions): what people seek in cosmic blueprints, where they get stuck, how they want to use this for growth and self-knowledge, so we serve the market better and shape product + hooks.
  2. Affiliate / creator discovery + approach (IG, YouTube, Reddit, the transit-report makers): catalog them, then run an outreach pipeline. Clay (in the connector registry) is built for exactly this, find and enrich contacts, personalize outreach, a clean way to turn the catalog into an affiliate pipeline for the lab/Affirmologist program.
  3. Aesthetic + mood graphics ideas (IG, Pinterest): visual direction for our graphics, covers, thumbnails, and brand mood, feeding the design system and the YouTube thumbnails.
  4. Free information for the corpus (public-domain and openly-licensed only): tier wall holds; copyrighted/paywalled stays out of retrieval.
  5. Plus the already-catalogued uses: competitive/pricing intelligence, distribution scouting, cultural language (Echo), collaboration/acquisition radar, investor market-proof.

Flagship: the curated-track YouTube funnel

We make audio at near-zero marginal cost, the bottleneck for everyone else. So we can flood an evergreen, high-search-traffic space and funnel to the personalized app. - Track taxonomy (what to produce): sign- and blueprint-themed sets ("Affirmations for [Sun Sign]," "[Moon sign] sleep affirmations"), intention sets (abundance, confidence, self-worth, sleep, calm), lunar/transit-timed pieces ("New Moon in Cancer guided audio"), and subconscious-reprogramming sessions. Curated and on-brand, never spammy filler. - Automation pipeline: engine generates the track → render with a licensed bed → auto-write SEO title/description/tags → generate thumbnail (Nano Banana / Higgsfield) → upload on a schedule. Human review gate before publish to protect the brand. - Funnel mechanics: every video drives to the app, pinned comment + description link + end screen + a spoken/least-intrusive CTA ("get YOUR personalized blueprint audio at ..."). Track which videos convert and double down. - Music licensing: the easy case, creator/Suno tiers cover YouTube, so the rights bottleneck others face is handled (see the licensing doc).

Brand accounts and growth hooks - what works, and where the line is

You asked for ideas including "nameless accounts" and Reddit users that feed people to Affirmology. Here's the honest spectrum, because some of this scales beautifully and some of it can blow up a brand built on authenticity.

Green (effective and safe, lean in here): - Faceless/branded niche accounts. Aesthetic affirmation accounts, a daily-cosmic account, themed channels, run openly as Affirmology-family properties. "Nameless" in the sense of not Jeff's face is totally fine; these grow huge in this niche. A small portfolio of them is a legit content-network play. - Disclosed creators + affiliates. The Affirmologist/affiliate program: real people promoting with a disclosed connection (FTC-compliant). This is your strongest, most durable growth lever, and the catalog feeds the recruiting. - Value-first community presence. Genuinely useful posts/answers on Reddit and IG under a clear brand identity, helpful first, link second, within each community's self-promo rules.

Red (don't, the downside dwarfs the upside): - Undisclosed sockpuppets posing as unaffiliated organic users/customers, fake testimonials, manufactured "I just discovered this" posts, and Reddit vote manipulation. Reddit explicitly bans undisclosed self-promo and vote manipulation (shadowban/site-ban), IG bans coordinated fake accounts, and the FTC requires disclosing material connections for endorsements. The real risk isn't the rule, it's that for a brand whose entire promise is authenticity and self-knowledge, getting caught astroturfing is a credibility bomb. It's the one own-goal we can't afford. - The legit alternative that gets the same result: instead of fake "organic" users, use faceless brand accounts (open) + disclosed creators + value-first seeding. Same reach and word-of-mouth feel, none of the landmine.

Growth hooks that actually move in this niche: strong specific hooks ("the one placement that explains why you self-sabotage"), the "this is so me" recognition angle (your whole edge), before/after transformation framing, free personalized-ish value as the lead magnet (a free sample audio), lunar/transit timeliness for recurring relevance, and shareable identity content (people share what describes them).

Affiliate / creator outreach playbook

The product is the opener: nobody else can hand a creator their own personalized cosmic audio. Build every outreach around that.

Offer tiers (creator-facing, tied to the product ladder): - Founding Affirmologist (early, best terms): lifetime free membership, top revenue share, the ability to create custom audios for their own community, co-marketing. The status itself is a reward. - Affiliate (standard): revenue share on referrals + a free sample audio for their followers. - Featured collab (one-off): content co-creation or a feature exchange, a low-commitment on-ramp.

The sequence (gift-first): engage genuinely first → reach out on their preferred channel (email if listed, else a real DM) → lead with the gift (their own chart audio, no ask) → then the clear offer.

Templates: - Gift DM (short): "Hi [name], I've been following your [specific thing]. We built you something, a personalized audio from your own chart [link]. No ask, genuinely thought you'd love it. If it lands, I'd love to show you how creators are using Affirmology with their communities." - Follow-up email (the offer): introduces the Founding Affirmologist program, how revenue share + community-audio creation work, soft CTA to a call or sign-up. CAN-SPAM compliant: real identity, physical address, one-click opt-out. - Do: personalize, reference their work, gift first, low volume, their channel, disclose the affiliate relationship in your terms. - Don't: mass copy-paste DMs, promo links dropped in comments, generic "collab?" blasts, indiscriminate paid shoutouts.

Finding contact info (tooling): - Clay (in the connector registry): find + enrich creator contacts, cleanest fit. - Same lane: Apollo.io, Hunter.io, Snov.io (email finding/verification), Apify / PhantomBuster (profile + Linktree scrapers for public contact emails), Instantly / Smartlead (sequence sending with deliverability controls). - Compliance, lightly: for cold email follow CAN-SPAM (identify yourself, include opt-out); be mindful of personal data (GDPR/CCPA for EU/CA contacts). A creator's business email for a genuine partnership is normal targeted outreach, just keep it personalized and opt-out-friendly, not a harvested blast.

Ads as outreach (the retargeting idea, and it's a good one): - You can't ad-target one named creator, but you CAN build custom audiences and run an affiliate-recruitment campaign: upload a creator email list, or retarget people who engaged with your IG/site (Meta pixel), with a "become a creator partner / Founding Affirmologist" message. Ads do the warming and the pitch in parallel with direct outreach. - The flip side, equally valuable: anyone who engages with the product gets retargeted + emailed about the membership tiers and what's possible (Inner Orbit, The Constellation, Affirmologist), so they understand what they can do with it. Engage → educate.

The machine: pipelines and nightly jobs (built to scale to many channels)

Everything here is modular by design, so we add branches without chaos. Each pipeline is its own agent + cron, all feeding two shared spines: the intelligence catalog and the CRM (Airtable). - Listening pipelines (Reddit + YouTube nightly via API; IG supervised) → catalog + "what the market wants" digest. - Affiliate-discovery pipeline: catalog creators → enrich contacts (Clay/Apollo/Hunter) → CRM with status. - Outreach pipeline: gift + DM/email sequence + affiliate-recruitment ads/retargeting. - Content-funnel pipeline: curated tracks → render → SEO → upload (YouTube flagship) + faceless open brand accounts. - Lifecycle / upsell pipeline: product engagers → membership-tier education via MailerLite + retargeting. - Corpus pipeline: the nightly self-improving crawler (separate plan). Shared infrastructure: Airtable (CRM), the intelligence catalog, MailerLite (email), Meta (ads/retargeting + pixel + custom audiences), and the audio engine (content + gifts). You add channels by adding pipelines, not by rebuilding the spine. That's the well-oiled machine.

Guardrails (so the engine never becomes a liability)

Staged build

  1. Reddit listening (official API): nightly subreddit search → "what people want" digest feeding product + hooks. Cheapest, highest-signal, do first.
  2. YouTube intelligence (Data API): channel/format/trend monitoring in the audio + blueprint space.
  3. Curated-track YouTube funnel: taxonomy + the generate→render→SEO→thumbnail→upload pipeline with a publish-review gate. The flagship growth project.
  4. Affiliate pipeline: catalog creators → Clay-style enrichment + outreach for the Affirmologist program.
  5. Instagram (supervised): dedicated account + shared Saved folders + Cowork/Chrome modest-cadence review for ideas and aesthetics.
  6. Brand-account network: a small set of open faceless properties feeding the funnel.

What this is

A disciplined listening-and-growth flywheel that learns from where our audience already is and turns it into curated content, affiliates, and product insight, aggressive on the legit, high-leverage plays, and deliberately not staking the brand's authenticity on tactics that get accounts banned.
